War effects many lives & in Vals case it was the Suez crisis of 1956 that became Englands loss and our gain. I first met Val at school and little did I know then that we would spend all of our working lives together.

Myself and my family had so many great years working with Val and dealing with the ups and downs of the oil business. Val was hugely popular with all of the customers and staff at McLoughlins & he was always most helpful and conscientious in his work. A true gentleman.
