So sorry to hear of Aunty Vanda’s passing, not only our Aunty,Great Aunty, but also God Mother, bless, you always gave us all a warm welcome and we had many a laugh over the years and with Uncle Tom. Vanda will be missed by all her many friends.
She had a young and often mischievous sense of humour and was always ready with a listening ear and words of wisdom whenever needed.
She remained interested in our lives - even after her move to Ireland.
Vanda had lived a full and long life and had many memories and stories that she loved to share and we loved to hear.
She was a very modest lady who would be amazed at how much she meant to everyone.
We take comfort that she is reunited with Tom, who she missed every day.

Thank you for the precious moments we had together, nana. You were delighted with our little David who would wrap his arms around you every day and say he loved you. I dearly hope that David, now four years will remember his great Nana. It was a wonderful achievement that we were all together in company and friendship. Nana, you were a mother and also my best friend as there was no age between us. You were so young at heart. You were the life and sole of a room and commanded natural attention. You were a strong character, never complaining during this lockdown. You were brave to the last. Thank you nana for having me age 14 and keeping me safe. Thank you for minding grandad for 15 years with Parkinson’s. Thank you Nana, for supporting the war effort to give us all our freedom in the UK when we were under attack.
