Vera served the town of Clonmel with great pride and distinction for many years and was a wonderful ambassador for the town twinning. I had the enormous privilege of travelling to twin cities with Vera on a number of occasions and whilst in public life, took her counsel and wisdom many times. My thoughts & prayers are with you all at this difficult time. May Vera's gentle soul Rest in Peace.
