I was honored to be able to attend Vera’s funeral today online from St. Mary’s.
My, it was beautifully done.
Gillian’s music was tearjerking while Sarah’s eulogy was awesome.
While it is such a sad time it is certainly a time to celebrate a wonderful friend.
Vera was a powerhouse of friendship to so many in Peoria during her twinning visits here.
The Friends of Clonmel as well as the St. Patrick Society in Peoria is indeed fortunate to have called her a dear friend for 26 years.
