Virginia Duffy
(née McGee)

Our heartfelt sympathy to you Paddy and to Nollaig, Sinead and Ciaran, and all of her adored grandchildren. I had the privilege of having Virginia as my teacher and Principal for 4th,5th and 6th Class in Killeen N.S. from 1967 to June 1969. She was an exceptional teacher but what made her really special was the care and concern,respect and love she had for all her pupils and their families. A couple of generations of my family passed through her hands and we all agree that she was someone who made a difference in our lives. We have many treasured memories of her time in Killeen N.S. above all, she was a person of faith and she lived her faith in her professional life ,in her dealings with all those she met. She has left a rich legacy and I hope we can live up to her high standards of care and compassion for others.
