To Miriam,Brian,Claire,Brendan and Fr.Con our smpathy to you all on Bill's death.He was a lovely, kind gentleman who left this world a better place for having been here.He helped our mother out in any way he could in the years after our father's early death in 1971.He visited our mother Lena who died in September after her siblings died in recent years.He is reunited now with Maura, his beloved wife and all his family who have gone before him.You were a wonderful daughter Miriam to both your parents and they will help you, your family and Fr.Con now from heaven.May Bill's soul rest in eternal peace.

I knew Bill , or Willie as he was known to us, for many years in County Hall and prior to that in Parnell Place and Father Matthew Quay. Willie was highly respected in Cork County Council and will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him. May Willie rest in peace.

Sincerest Condolences to Bill's family at this very sad time. I met Bill for the first time when Bill, Dinny Donovan, Stan Roche and Mary O'Sullivan set up the Lough Credit Union in Fr O'Leary Hall in 1966 / 67 and I was asked to assist by Fr McCarthy. What an incredible empathetic and undetstanding team who created an organisation that contributed so much to the Lough Parish.
Bill You were a Great Servant and Mentor to your locality - Your work is done. Rest in Peace Bill.
