Sincere sympathies to the extended Ellis families on the sad passing of Billy whom I fondly remember from our many years as colleagues working in the PO Engineering Branch / Telecom. And this longtime association was enhanced as a player within the football teams St. Gabriel’s FC / Telephones Utd. he managed with his great pal , Dessie Tannam. Our paths still kept crossing over those years also through the Golf Society, PO Engineers / Telecom Golf . Society. And in recent years it was wonderful to meet Billy down in my own Golf Club, St. Anne’s , with his family celebrating his Birthdays. Billy was a person of a quite timid manner, always with a smile on his face. The ultimate Gentleman, May Billy Rest in Peace.
