I was sorry when I heard of the death of Willie Fleming because both of us go back a long way, it would scare you to realise over half a centuary. It was the summer of ‘65 and my Mother Annie asked Frank Carberry to give me a job with him doing his trade Electricity. He took me on and it was during this time I worked along side with Willie and we became great friends. He was one gentleman. Frank used to be on to us both about smoking, we should have took his advise, both Frank and Madeline were so kind and good to me, looking back at all the knowledge I got from both Willie and Frank stood to me when a problem arouse with Electrical work , especially when we had the Washeteria and Video work lighting etc. (I remember well Mary was born around the same time.)I often think it should be a subject in School instead of Algebra.
I would like to express my sincerest sympathy to all Willie Family may his gentle Soul RIP and Willie keep the lights on in Heaven for us.
