Denis McCarthy

McCarthy (Bandon) on December 14th 2021 after a long illness bravely bourne at Cork University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Denis (formerly of Kilmurray) predeaced by his loving brothers Seamus and Owen, beloved husband of Mary (nee Byrne) No.2 knockbrogan Park and dear father of Kay, Eugene, Denise, John and Trevor. Sadly missed by his loving family, son in law, daughters in law, his adored grandchildren, sister Chrissie, sisters in law Alice McCarthy and Frances Stack, nephews, nieces, first cousins, relatives, neighbours and a larger circle of friends.

Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home on tomorrow, Wednesday, from 6pm to 8pm followed by Rosary. Denis' funeral cortege will leave his residence in Knockbrogan at 11.30am on Thursday on Route to St. Patrick's Church for Requiem Mass at 12 noon which will be live streamed on bandonparish.ie/live followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery. Those attending the funeral please adhere to social distancing along the Route.
