Donal (Donie) McGrath

McGrath (Cork) on January 6th, 2024 (peacefully) in the presence of his loving family, at the Mercy University Hospital, DONAL (DONIE), Cathedral Road, (formerly of Gurranabraher Avenue) (late of Murphy’s Evergreen and AIB, 66 South Mall). Beloved husband of the late Mary (née Myers), loving father of Janice, Don, John, Anthony & Michelle and loving brother of the late Johnny, Mossie, Denis, Mary & Kitty. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law John & Damien, daughters-in-law Martina, Karen & Yvonne, brother-in-law Gerry, sisters-in-law Eileen, Bridie, Hannah, Peggy & Eleanor, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Visitation on Monday (8th January) at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge from 5:00pm to 6:00pm with prayers at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (9th January) at 11:00am at the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Donie's Requiem Mass will be live streamed at https://www.gurranabraherparish.ie/webcam/ . Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to a charity of your choice.
