Gearóid Ó Laoghaire

Ó LAOGHAIRE (Rossa Avenue, Bishopstown, Cork); The family of GEARÓID Ó Laoghaire with deep sadness announce his passing on August 10th, 2024, he died in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Cork University Hospital.

Gearóid of Dún Mhuire, Rossa Avenue, Bishopstown, was the son of the late Eibhlín and Pilib Ó Laoghaire and brother of the recently deceased Tadhg.

He is survived by his sisters Colom (Dorney) and Íde, his brother-in-law Jim, his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Monday (August 12th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (August 13th) in St. Joseph’s S.M.A Church, Wilton, which can be viewed
