The death has occurred of
George Murphy
Peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mary, devoted father of David, Angela, Bridgette & the late Danny & much loved brother of Mary, Breda, Tony, Teresa, Greg, Margaret and the late Shamo, John-Joe, Ann & Sadie. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, daughters, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Linda & Marie, grandchildren David, Niall, Oisin, Aaron, Naoise, Katie & Dano, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, neighbours & many friends.
Rest in peace.
In accordance with government guidelines, George’s funeral will be celebrated in private. Removal from Sweeney’s Funeral Home at 10.30 on Saturday morning to St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the church webcam
Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium for a private cremation service at 1.45pm, walking to the bridge. George’s cremation service will be live-streamed on
