The death has occurred of
James (Jim) McGarry
McGarry (Liam Healy Road, Fairhill, Cork) on October 25th 2021, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Catherine’s Ward, Marymount University Hospital & Hospice; JAMES (Jim), beloved husband of Breeda (nee Hallissey) and loving father of Jenny, Fiona, Nicola, Steven and Brenda. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, son, grandchildren Laura, Damien, Darren, Alison, Nia, Anna, Emma, Sean, Cian, Abby, Isabelle, Jack, great-grandchildren, Katie, Shane, Alice and Andy, brothers Michael and David, sister Frances, sons-in-law John, Sean and Ger, relatives, neighbours and friends. James is pre-deceased by his siblings Kathleen, John, Eddie and Denis.
Visitation at O'Connor Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge, on Wednesday 27th October at 6pm-7pm, with Rosary at 6.45pm. Reception into the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree 10.45am for 11am Requiem Mass on Thursday 28th October. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Curraghkippane.
