Peacefully on 21st October 2025 in the tender care of St. Vincent’s Hospital, with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Mary, adored father of Owen, James, Linda & the late Paul & much-loved brother of Junie, Charlotte & the late Elizabeth & Marie. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law Mick, daughters-in-law Gillian & Leanne, grandchildren Liam, Owen, Paul, Amy, Ryan, Dylan, James & Finn, sisters, brother-in-law Jackie, nephews, nieces, relatives & his many friends from Arklow Boxing Club & beyond.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday.
House private on Thursday when Jim will spend his last day in the home he loved. Removal from his residence on Friday morning at 9.15 to St. Mary & Peter’s Church arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock.
