Johanna (Josie) Kinsella
(née Doyle)
Johanna (Josie) Kinsella (née Doyle) of Blacklion, Greystones, Co. Wicklow and late of Cooladine, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.
April 8th 2025, peacefully in her 98th year, surrounded by her devoted family, while in the loving warm care of Liz, Pat, Billy, Evelyn, Mary, Noelle and all the dedicated and exceptional team at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home, Greystones, who cared for Johanna over the past seven months.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Thomas James (Jim) Kinsella (coal merchant and fisherman) who died March 20th 1975, daughter of the late Matthew and Johanna Doyle and sister of the late Nelly, Bridget, Bill, Stasia, Matthew, Jim, Eoin, Tony, Marks, Dick, Johnny, Essie, Tom and Maggie.
Remembered with love by her children Jimmy, Joan, Billy and Bernie, daughters-in-law Carol and Judy, sons-in-law Marty and Peter, sister Mary Keogh (Clonsilla, Dublin), grandchildren Adam, Ivan, James, Robert, Louise, Lynda, Mark, Erica, Sean and Conor, great-grandchildren Conor, Molly, Kate, Rhys, Aoibhe, Kai, Cian, Bobby, Evan, Oscar, AJ, Dylan, Jake, Hugo, Lauryn, Alex, Nell, Beth and Dara, sister-in-law Nancy Doyle (Oylgate, Wexford), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Funeral Mass to celebrate her life on Friday afternoon April 11th at 2.30pm in St. Kilians Church, Blacklion, after which Johanna will be reunited with her husband Jim in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones.
