John Joseph (Joe) Hanniffy,
"Hill View", Lackabeg, Ballinahown, Athlone, Offaly.
John Joseph died on October 8th 2021, unexpectedly. He was fondly known as John.
John will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Olive (Née Smyth), sons Alan and Paul, daughters Tracy and Rachael, grandchildren Faye, Jake, Abbey, Nicole, Joshua and Ava, daughters-in-law Martina and Emma, son-in-law Barry, Rachael's partner Ben, brothers Paddy, Tony and Brendan, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

John's family thank you for your support and understanding at this difficult time.
John will repose at his home on Tuesday (Oct.12th) for family and friends from 2pm to 8pm. Please wear a face covering and be mindful of Public Health Guidelines. Removal on Wednesday (Oct.13th) to St. Colmcille's Church, Ballinahown for Requiem Mass at 11am.(Max. 50% of church capacity), which may be viewed on https://youtu.be/y3wrDYyZJWY . Interment afterwards in Clonmacnois.
Friends and neighbours are welcome to stand along the route to the church and cemetery, while following Social Distancing Rules.
