John O'Rourke

John died peacefully with his family by his side in the loving care of St Francis Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his parents James and Mary O’Rourke, and brother Gerard.

Deeply regretted by his wife Mary (nee Keaveney), sons Kevin, Johnny, Patrick, and Brendan, daughters Marion and Margaret. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers Noel, Tom and Mick and families. Extended nieces and nephews, neighbours and many good friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace

Funeral arrangements:

Sunday 28th September 2025

Reposing at Glenamaddy Community Centre from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m with removal afterwards to St. Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy.

Monday 29th September 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for John in St. Patrick’s Church, Glenamaddy at 12pm. Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery, Glenamaddy, Co Galway
