Josephine Kiernan (née Smith), Harmony Heights, Drogheda, Co. Louth, formerly of Knockanoark, Stradone, Co. Cavan. 14th November 2025. Peacefully at home in the care of her loving family following a long illness bravely borne. Josephine, predeceased by her parents Thomas and Nellie, sister Sr. Ann Theresa (South Africa) and sister-in-law Mary Guildea. Sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband Patrick, daughters Linda and Miriam, son Stephen, sons-in-law David and Paul, Stephen’s partner Ruth, beloved grandchildren Lily, Aidan, Alexandra and Arthur, sister Cora, brother Anthony, sister-in-law Mary, brothers-in-law Séan and Ken, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home (A92WYV8) from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock on Monday 17th November. House strictly private at all other times. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, can be viewed on www.saintpetersdrogheda.ie Burial afterwards in Newtown Cross Lawn Cemetery.
