Kathleen (Cathy) PURCELL
(née Quirke)
Kathleen (Cathy) Purcell, nee Quirke, formerly of Longwood, Bennekerry, Carlow and late of Coolcullen, Co. Kilkenny, August 4th 2024 peacefully in her 92nd year in the gentle care of St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas, adored mother of Mary and Les and much loved Nanna of Zoe, Niamh, Caitriona, Cathal, Edel and Rebecca. Sadly missed by her loving daughter, son, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Trish, brother Luke, sister Margaret, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends. Predeceased by her brother Tom.
May Cathy’s gentle Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
Reposing at her son Les’s home (Tinnepark House, Tinryland, Carlow R93 XP02) on Monday from 5pm to 8pm. Reposing on Tuesday from 1pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Brigid’s Church, Coon, Co. Kilkenny (R93 VK44). Interment afterwards in Paulstown Cemetery.
