Mary O'Brien
(née McCarthy)

Mary O’Brien (nee McCarthy), Keale, Ballyorgan, Co. Limerick, formally of Gurtacurrig, Kildorrery, on August 14th 2025. Unexpectedly, but peacefully in the care of the staff of Abbeylands Nursing Home and Cork University Hospital. Predeceased by her brother, Tommie (McCarthy), daughter-in-law, Yvonne and grandson Declan.

Mary will be forever loved and sadly missed by loving husband Sean, sons Brendan, Kevin, Colm, Sean, daughter Carmel, daughters-in-law Majella, Laura and Aina, son-in-law Will, and Dymphna. Much loved grandchildren; Conor, Eimear, Áine, Rory, Darragh, Micheala, Aiden, Charlotte and Sofia. Sisters Sr. Noreen (McCarthy), Kitty (O’Connor), Peggy (Scarry) and Sheila (Moriarty), family, close friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Abbeylands Nursing Home Kildorrery (P67NH76) on Sunday, August 17th from 2pm to 5pm. Removal to St. Joseph's Church, Ballyorgan for 2.30pm mass on Monday, August 18th followed by burial in Glenroe cemetery. House private on Monday please
