Maureen Ruane

Formerly of Knocknasna, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick

On Sunday, 19th October 2025 Maureen completed her life’s journey peacefully in her 90th year, surrounded by her adoring family and in the comfort of her own home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Mattie, brothers and sister, Paitie, Nell, Seán, Denis and Mickey, Gerard, Dan Joe and Anthony, grandson Martin and son-in-law T.J.

Deeply mourned by her children Noreen, Anthony, Evelyn, Patricia, Martina, Michelle and Catherine, twenty grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren all of whom she was immensely proud. Sadly missed also by her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law Nonie Ruane, brother-in-law Patrick Broder, nieces and nephews and all their families, kind neighbours and lovely friends.

Reposing at ‘Tearmann Mhuire’ within the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception Oranmore (H91XC61) 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Thursday, 23rd October 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Maureen on arrival at the Church at 12 noon. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Oranmore cemetery within the village. Mass will be broadcast on the Church webcam
