The death has occurred of
MAURICE O'CONNOR
O’CONNOR MAURICE (retired pharmacist, late of “Woodleigh”, Dwyer Road, Midleton, Co. Cork). On January 25th 2021 in his 90th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen (née Kelleher). Loved and remembered by his children Angela Cornish (Australia), Frankie Franke (England) and Geoffrey (U.S.A), his grandchildren Cian and Ciara Cornish, Liam, Clara and Theo Franke, his sons-in-law John Cornish and Marcel Franke, sisters Francis Prunty and Nano O’ Connor, remembering also his deceased sisters Theresa, Eileen and Mary O’Connor, relatives and wide circle of friends.
In line with continuing guidance and restrictions, Maurice’s Requiem Mass and burial will take place privately during which he will be laid to rest in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Midleton.
Maurice's cortége will leave his home on Thursday 28th at 5.30pm, travel via New Cork Road, pausing at his former premises on Main Street en route to the private removal.
If paying your respects along the route, please adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Requiem Mass will be available to view on www.midletonparish.ie and Midleton Parish Saorview from 10am on Friday 29th.
