Richard (Richie) McCarthy

McCarthy (Ballineadig, Farran and formerly of Aherla) On June 28th 2022, peacefully at Cork University Hospital, Richard (Richie)(late driver for Ballyclough and Dairygold), beloved husband of Marie (nee Lucey), loving father of Alan, Mary (Morley), Aoife (Forde) and the late Linda (Cordas) and brother of the late Kathleen. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sons-in-law Anthony and Darren, Alan’s partner Mary, grandchildren Ashlyn, Jessie, Lucy, Ciara, Ellie, Rían, John and Anna, brother Willie, sisters Mary and Eileen, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Thursday (30th June) from 6pm to 7pm for visitation. Requiem Mass on Friday (1st July) at 12 noon at the Church of St John the Baptist, Ovens which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/ovens. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
