DOWNEY (Clanricarde Estate, Boreenmanna Road, Cork and late of Lower, Ballinlough, Cork): On December 20th 2023, peacefully at her residence in the presence of her loving family, TERESA (née Warren), childhood sweetheart cherished and much-loved wife of the late Noel for over 60years, daughter of the late William and Annie Warren, sister of the late Michael, Simon, Liam and Maisie, loving grandmother of the late Michelle and dear mother-in-law of the late DJ.

So hugely missed by her loving family, sons Ger and Billy, daughters Marie (Kavanagh), Anne (Duggan), Joan (Kiely) and Gillian (O’Connell), her 16 loving grandchildren and her 5 wonderful great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Thursday (December 21st) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Friday (December 22nd) in St. Joseph’s SMA Church, Blackrock which will be live streamed
