Thomas (Tommy) Birthistle

Birthistle, Castlepark, Arklow, Co. Wicklow, 14th January 2025, peacefully at Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home, in the loving care of the staff and his family. Thomas (Tommy) beloved husband of Josephine (née Kelly), loving father of Antoinette, Sinéad, Niamh and Joy, dearest brother of Niall and the late Patricia, Margot and Dorrie. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, brother, sons-in-law Ondrej, Matt and Michal, brothers-in-law Adrian and Peter, sister-in-law Ursula, nephews, nieces, cousins, all the staff and residents at Kilcoole Lodge Nursing Home, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Tommy will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home, Arklow (Y14 PT80) on Friday from 3pm, with removal on Friday evening at 6.30pm to The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, Arklow arriving for reception prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 10am, followed by cremation service at 1pm in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin (D6W HY98).
