The death has occurred of
Thomas (Tommy) Merrigan
Passed away peacefully on 30th August 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice. Predeceased by his brothers Paddy and Johnny and his sister Bernie. Sadly missed and forever loved by his wife Phil, his children Wayne and Jane, his adored grandchildren Fionn, Ellie, Katie, Aoibhe, Polly, Sally, Faoláin and Daisy, his daughter-in-law Angela, Jane’s partner Noel and his children Siobhán, Gearóid and Pádraig, his brothers Bobby, Gerry and Oliver, his sisters Lily, Frances and Alice, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and by his many friends in the hunting and horse world.
Tommy will be reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Arklow on Monday 1st September from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 2nd September at 11 o’clock in St. David’s Church, Johnstown.

Burial afterwards in Ballycoog Cemetery.
